“Exceptional technical knowledge base based on broad experience. Austin was able to move from structural large-form sculpture questions to clay body characteristics to special firing techniques with confidence. Generous about accommodating my schedule. Grasped and adapted to student skill level quickly, making the time spent valuable (e.g. didn’t spent time talking about things I already knew) Answered questions thoroughly and with clarity.” - Carol
